Children International honors Black History Month

Ariel Griffin, program officer – education, shares her personal perspective on how her view of black history has evolved, and how Children International is celebrating Black History Month this February.

Children International works in 10 countries around the world, focusing on areas of dense poverty to deliver the greatest impact for change. The children we serve come from diverse backgrounds, as do our staff and massive volunteer force. In the words of Maya Angelou: "The more you know of your history, the more liberated you are."
