Children International’s Common GoodSM is designed to meet children where they are — literally. In their schools. You’re helping build a stronger, more compassionate America, one child, one classroom, one school at a time.Childhood in America can be tough, especially for at-risk kids. They struggle with not only their studies, but the weight they bring into the classroom with them.
Hunger, homelessness and domestic violence are just a few of the challenges students in Little Rock deal with every day. These result in missed class, a lack of focus on their studies and feelings of failure.

Your support of Common Good can make a truly meaningful impact on young lives by delivering direct assistance into the daily school experience for kindergarten through eighth-grade students.
By partnering with the resources of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Little Rock School District (LRSD), the City of Little Rock and the Central Arkansas Little Rock Library System, Common Good is not only helping students — we’re strengthening the entire community from within through the proven model of social and emotional well-being.

At the heart of Common Good is a belief that every child deserves the chance to grow into a confident, compassionate and capable adult. That’s why our partners in Little Rock have embraced the G.U.I.D.E. for Life framework — five essential principles that help children not only succeed in school, but thrive in life.
These aren’t just classroom lessons. They’re life lessons — portable, practical and deeply personal, for use at every stage in life. They help children navigate challenges, build meaningful relationships and make thoughtful choices. They’re just as relevant for adults as they are for kids.

Between the ages of 6 and 14, children are developing the emotional and social skills that will shape the rest of their lives. This is a time of rapid growth — when kids are learning how to manage their emotions, build relationships and make thoughtful decisions. This model gives them the tools to do just that. It’s not just about school success — it’s about lifelong well-being.
As a supporter, you’ll receive quarterly updates that show you exactly how your gift is making a difference. You’ll see stories, photos, interactive content and most importantly — progress from the schools you’re helping. You’ll know that your generosity is creating real change for children right here at home.
We’re proud to support this University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UA Little Rock) initiative that brings the Common Good program to four elementary schools and one middle school in Little Rock. These schools were chosen because they’re where the need is greatest — and where your support can make the biggest difference. Every child enrolled in these schools will have the opportunity to benefit from this program, helping create a stronger, more connected school culture and community.
