The work Children International does on behalf of children in poverty is funded primarily through a one-to-one sponsorship model. We are transforming our funding model to dramatically increase the support we provide our kids. Additionally, we are taking our programs from good to great by elevating our people systems and practices worldwide. Position summary

Children International is seeking an experienced Loyalty Marketing Manager who is creative, innovative, and analytical. This individual will play a key role in developing and executing strategies for growing our supporter revenue, and cultivating, engaging and retaining our contributors. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to apply fundraising and marketing best practices to make an immediate impact. The ideal candidate will have a history of developing solid marketing and fundraising strategies. This role will lead cross-functional teams through business case development, campaign planning, implementation and measurement of campaigns. Understanding marketing performance and return on investment is a vital component to this role. To be successful, they must be a creative problem-solver driven to get results while, at the same time, delivering optimal supporter experience. Collaboration with creative, operations and other key members of the supporter engagement system is vital as is driving the ideal contributor journey and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to development and on-going management of sponsorship lifecycle experience and supporting communication plans
  • Develop and implement campaign strategies focused on growing and retaining sponsors
  • Prepare forecast and budget for audience specific campaigns supporting the marketing plan
  • Create testing plans to optimize campaign performance to drive additional revenue
  • Partner with key stakeholders to analyze campaign performance
  • Participate in special projects that will improve supporter experience and reduce sponsor attrition
Personal Characteristics & Qualifications
  • BS degree with major in marketing preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy and execution
  • Fundraising experience is a plus
  • Digital, social and direct marketing experience a must
  • Effective change agent, strong influencer and relationship builder at all levels of the organization
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms a plus (i.e. Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
  • Results driven with exceptional attention to detail and strong project management skills
  • Effective verbal and written communications
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Collaboration and matrix management skills
  • Willingness and ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environment
