POSITION SUMMARY

The Workplace Giving Officer will play a central role in driving strategy and growth for Children International’s Workplace Giving and Employee Engagement initiatives. This includes payroll giving, Dollars for Doers, employee matching gifts, and special campaigns with a strong focus on converting one-time givers and employee volunteers into recurring monthly donors. This position is designed for an entrepreneurial, experienced and upbeat professional who can work independently but also thrives on collaboration across teams and functions. The officer will also support cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment of workplace giving initiatives with CI’s broader fundraising and engagement goals, helping to position CI as a preferred nonprofit partner for employee giving and volunteerism.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Implement and expand CI’s workplace giving program by executing strategy, leading planning and employee engagement activities, and identifying new opportunities, platforms, and approaches to increase participation and impact.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow workplace giving with Fortune 500 companies.
  • Cultivate relationships with corporate leaders to embed giving into employee engagement, employee resource groups, and corporate social impact initiatives.
  • Work with Sr. Manager, Strategic Partnerships to develop and implement a strategy to convert one-time givers and employee volunteers into recurring monthly donors through targeted engagement strategies and storytelling.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce compelling campaign materials, toolkits, and digital assets for workplace giving that inspire action and reflect impact.
  • Provide strategic guidance to corporate partners on trends, innovations, and best practices in workplace giving.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, giving trends, donor retention, and ROI to inform strategy and demonstrate impact.
  • Represent the organization at industry events and partner meetings to elevate visibility and thought leadership in workplace giving. Proactively use CI's CRM, Dynamics 365, to track partnership engagement and revenue.
  • Develop and implement a structured top tier stewardship program for workplace giving donors, including segmented communication strategies, and leverage tools such as Salesforce, Double the Donation, and other platforms to enhance engagement and tracking.
  • Manage small grant accounts and help screen inbound inquiries for the Strategic Partnerships team.
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required
  • 5-7 years of experience managing campaigns and directly raising 6-7 figures annually through workplace giving and employee engagement initiatives with Fortune 500 corporations.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking for small and large audiences, and the ability to craft compelling partner communications and represent CI with professionalism.
  • High degree of technological proficiency; experience with Microsoft Office Suite, donor databases (preferably Dynamics 365), and collaboration platforms (SharePoint, Teams, Zoom).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to build relationships across diverse constituencies, and thrives in a multicultural organization.
  • Entrepreneurial and growth mindset with a collaborative approach; comfortable working both independently and within a team.
