Children International (CI) is a global nonprofit that delivers child and youth development programming to break the cycle of generational poverty. Through a long-term, customized approach, we serve young people in 10 different countries around world for the first two decades of their lives. By providing access to health care, education, positive role models, and the life and job skills they need to become sustainably employed adults, we are empowering and equipping our participants with opportunities to improve their own lives, while transforming their families and communities. We are in it for the long haul, because we know that the nearly 218,000 children and youth we support around the world deserve a fighting chance.
Children International’s work is made possible by generous and caring sponsors, donors, corporations, nearly 3,800 dedicated volunteers and approximately 1,300 employees. To ensure that our programs continue giving children and youth the best possible chance to break free from poverty, we are growing our people talent worldwide. That’s where you come in.
The Workplace Giving Officer will play a central role in driving strategy and growth for Children International’s Workplace Giving and Employee Engagement initiatives. This includes payroll giving, Dollars for Doers, employee matching gifts, and special campaigns with a strong focus on converting one-time givers and employee volunteers into recurring monthly donors. This position is designed for an entrepreneurial, experienced and upbeat professional who can work independently but also thrives on collaboration across teams and functions. The officer will also support cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment of workplace giving initiatives with CI’s broader fundraising and engagement goals, helping to position CI as a preferred nonprofit partner for employee giving and volunteerism.
