About Children International
Children International (CI) is a global nonprofit that delivers child and youth development programming to break the cycle of generational poverty. Through a long-term, customized approach, we serve young people in 10 different countries around world for the first two decades of their lives. By providing access to health care, education, positive role models, and the life and job skills they need to become sustainably employed adults, we are empowering and equipping our participants with opportunities to improve their own lives, while transforming their families and communities. We are in it for the long haul, because we know that the nearly 218,000 children and youth we support around the world deserve a fighting chance.
Children International’s work is made possible by generous and caring sponsors, donors, corporations, nearly 3,800 dedicated volunteers and approximately 1,300 employees. To ensure that our programs continue giving children and youth the best possible chance to break free from poverty, we are growing our people talent worldwide. That’s where you come in.
POSITION SUMMARY
At Children International, we don’t just write proposals—we craft invitations to change lives. We believe that every child deserves a future free from poverty. We know that behind every transformational gift is a story that moved someone to act.
As our Donor Impact and Proposal Writer, you’ll be the one that connects hearts to missions. You’ll turn data into dreams, programs into promises, and impact into inspiration. You’ll help donors see themselves in the story—and believe in the power of their giving.

This isn’t just a writing job. It’s a chance to help rewrite the future for children, for communities, and for the world. If you believe in the power of storytelling to drive change, we want to hear from you.
