CI Field Officer Brenda Lili Gordiano Aroche truly loves her hometown — you can see it in the way she lights up when she talks about Guatemala City. Despite its beauty, Brenda admits there is a lot of need here — especially in the area she lives in, near one of CI’s community centers.
“We often live our lives and do not realize the great needs of our communities,” she says. “And that is what has encouraged me to be here.”
Here, she talks about her favorite CI experiences, her gratefulness for CI sponsors and what the power of (every)ONESM means to her.

I had the pleasure of meeting Brenda when I went to Guatemala to visit my sponsored children there. She is very warm, friendly, caring and truly has the best interests of both the children and the sponsors in her heart. She personifies the mission of Children International! I felt truly blessed to meet her and spend the day with her and my sponsored children.
