Since 1936 Children International has operated with empowerment at our core — providing a foundation of hope and a global community of support that have helped hundreds of thousands of young people forge a path out of poverty.

As 1 in 5 children around the globe continue to live in households surviving on less than $3 a day, our work to educate, mentor, guide and invest in young people ages 2 to 24 is invaluable. With support from individual and organizational partners, we’ve been able to propel them into futures filled with consistent employment and productivity. Their brighter journeys end the cycle of poverty in their families and inspire them to contribute to their local communities.
