see how our communities CELEBRATE INDEPENDENCE DAYS

Nations across the globe celebrate their Independence Days throughout the year. These dates on the calendar are proud moments for citizens, marking when their countries officially claimed autonomy and liberation from foreign rule.

After the United States, the next oldest Independence Day among the countries where we work is Colombia, which gained sovereignty 213 years ago. The newest? Zambia, celebrating 59 years in 2023.
