Children International Adds Three Leaders to Its Board of Directors

Kansas City, MO (March 17, 2025) – Children International today announced the appointment of three veteran business leaders to its Board of Directors. Their combined expertise in finance, education and management will help advance the global nonprofit’s mission of bringing people together to end poverty for good.

The new board members are:

  • Andy Erpelding, a finance and accounting expert with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and organizational transformation. The founder of FLO Growth Partners, a strategic management services firm, Erpelding has led transactions ranging from $3 million to over $600 million. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Creighton University.
  • Suzanne Jimenez, a seasoned leader in education and business development with global experience. Currently serving as National Director of Innovation and Insights at HMH, Jimenez focuses on strategic planning and innovative design for comprehensive specialized instruction. She holds an Ed.D. in special education and educational leadership from The George Washington University.
  • Brad Cloverdyke, a retired human resources executive, returning to Children International’s Board after previously serving as Board Chair. Cloverdyke retired as Vice President of Human Resources for American Century Investments, where he led talent strategies for 17 years. He also held leadership roles at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.
