About Children International

Children International is a child and youth development organization that works to eradicate poverty around the world. We believe that ending poverty starts with children. Without help, children in poverty become adults in poverty. Our vision is to bring people and partners together to break this generational cycle through programs focused on health, education, life skills and employment. Through a long-term, customized approach, we work with children for the first two decades of their lives. We’re in it for the long haul because we know that the children we support in 10 countries deserve a fighting chance, and sustainable change takes time.

Children International’s work is made possible by generous sponsors, donors, strategic partners, more than 4,000 dedicated community volunteers, and approximately 1,200 employees, most of whom are local to the areas where we work. To ensure our programs give children, youth and families the best possible chance of breaking the poverty cycle, we are elevating our practices for growing our people talent worldwide. That’s where you come in.
