A birthday shouldn’t feel like just another day.
But as you can imagine, children in poverty don’t usually have a party, presents or anything to celebrate their special day — for the simple fact that their parents can’t afford it. That’s why we make sure every child in our program receives a birthday gift.

For many children, these gifts will be the only ones they receive. Our field staff consult with the children’s families to choose items that are truly wanted and needed, such as new clothes, shoes and school supplies.
The children treasure their gifts, and knowing someone cares can be incredibly motivating as they work toward a better future.
Your gift helps fund birthday gifts for your child and all sponsored children. This way, we can make sure every child receives a gift, including those who don’t currently have a sponsor.
Be sure to check the “in honor of” option and provide their information so we can let them know about your generosity.
