Dean retired as the president and CEO of the energy division at Black & Veatch Engineering. Dean served the firm for more than 40 years. He originally became a member of Children International’s board in 1987. His wife, Tammy, has also served on our board. The couple have been married for more than 50 years and have been involved with Children International since the mid-1980s. Both Dean and Tammy have served Children International, offering sound advice and guidance to executives. They have one daughter and four grandchildren.
