The CI approach is to invest in our kids and youth by providing a safe place, a caring team and a path out of poverty through programs in health, education, empowerment and employment. We provide this support for 250,000 children in 13 agencies working in 10 countries around the world.

The work Children International does on behalf of children in poverty is funded primarily through a one-to-one sponsorship model. We are transforming our funding model to dramatically increase the support we provide our kids. Additionally, we are taking our programs from good to great by elevating our people systems and practices worldwide. That’s where you come in.

Position summary

This role will be responsible for coordinating key deliverables to ensure operational excellence for audience marketing campaigns and channels. A successful candidate will work and collaborate with all key internal stakeholders that own deliverables, supporting the launch and post launch of the marketing and channel initiatives.

Responsibilities

The Marketing Coordinator will build and manage project plans and schedules to ensure all key deliverables (from A to Z) are completed and align with campaign and channel success metrics as outlined by the senior marketing manager. As part of operational readiness, this position will involve working with the marketing manager to ensure the customer experience in channels and marketing communications align with the marketing strategy before deployment. In addition, this person will ensure all content and channel touchpoints align with the prescribed donor journey.

Specific responsibilities include
  • Implementing and coordinating marketing initiatives ranging from small to large, including complex marketing campaigns and channel deployment.
  • Determining partnership with key stakeholders and building project schedules and plans ensuring successful tactical plan delivery.
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables and tasks are completed by key stakeholders – this includes meeting setup, project documentation, feedback consolidation, and ensuring that project tracking measures are put in place and tracked.
Personal Characteristics & Qualifications
  • 3+ years’ of marketing campaign and campaign execution experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing or related field required.
  • Strong project management and coordination skills and risk mitigation experience.
  • Knowledge of marketing processes and operations.
  • Willingness and ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Willingness and ability to engage in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Microsoft Project or other project plan tool experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time.
