New community center to help sponsored children in Colombia.

James Cook, Children International president, addresses those attending the inauguration of the Soledad Community Center No.5. This center was built with an investment of US$1,000,000 by this foreign organization through the Fundación Amigos de los Niños, and the contribution of a plot of land by the Rotary Club through the Rotary Foundation.

Cook presented an award to Billy Hernández, regional president of Children International and Barranquilla Rotary Club, for promoting that project which is part of the Rotary neighborhood. The inauguration enjoyed the presence of, among others, the mayors of Soledad and Santa Marta, Antonio Castillo and José Francisco Zúñiga, respectively. NuevoCentroComunitarioSoledad
