Why partner with Children International?
Children International achieves its goals primarily through signature community centers. At these centers, 5,000-7,000 children receive basic health care, including dental, nutritional aid, educational support and other structured activities to help them become self-reliant adults. Children enter the program as young as two and graduate at age 19.
Funding for this whole child approach is primarily achieved through individual child sponsorship, which unites children in need with individual sponsors. Our programs currently benefit more than 340,000 impoverished children and their families in 11 countries throughout the world, including Chile, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Mexico, the Philippines, the United States and Zambia.
Unique. Local. Proven.
Unlike some organizations, Children International offices are located in the cities where we work, and |
 |
our community centers are in the heart of neighborhoods we serve. We hire local staff and use local volunteers who know the children and the problems they face firsthand. This enables Children International to provide direct and specific support to our sponsored children. And because we have the largest group of active youth among all child sponsorship agencies, our programs have unparalleled reach.
Custom corporate partnerships can include:
- Corporate gifts, grants and in-kind donations to designated Youth Program initiatives with naming rights
- Sponsoring children and youth in designated geographies or by themed programs
- Supporting the construction of new community centers with naming rights
- Supporting special community projects such as clean-water infrastructure and playgrounds for children to enjoy
- Employee volunteer opportunities, sponsor promotions and matching gifts
- Cause-related marketing initiatives
- Special presentations by Children International youth for corporate headquarter events and/or media relations
- Opportunities for corporate executives and employees to visit youth at Children International community centers
You can expect a partnership that:
- Engages employees, customers and other stakeholders in personal, heartfelt ways
- Builds and reinforces brand reputation as a U.S. and world leader
- Helps you reach new target markets, both nationally and internationally
- Demonstrates to your constituencies that you are an international leader in the fight to end child poverty.
